HEY GIRL, HEY!

Hi, I’m Jess — a Christian author, storyteller, and encourager for women who are learning to heal, grow, and rediscover who they are in God. My heart is for the woman in the in-between: no longer who she used to be, but unsure of who she’s becoming. I’ve lived through that tension myself — the quiet pain, the identity shifts, the rebuilding, and the longing to feel whole again. Through my own seasons of healing, God has shown me that restoration doesn’t have to be loud or rushed. It can be gentle, intentional, and deeply sacred.

I created Thee Novel Nest because I wanted to offer what I once needed: a soft place to land during hard seasons. A space that makes room for honesty, reflection, and growth without judgment. My writing, my book, and my podcast are all rooted in storytelling and Scripture — the two places where God met me the most. I believe He does His best work in the spaces we try to hide, in the parts of our story that feel unfinished or fragile. My calling is to remind women that their identity is not lost, their voice still matters, and their becoming is worth tending to.

At my core, I’m simply a woman who loves God, loves people, and deeply values the power of a well-told story. I’m a wife, a mother, a homemaker, and someone who has learned that healing is not linear — but it is holy. I show up in truth rather than perfection, offering encouragement that feels real, grounded, and attainable. My prayer is that whenever you encounter my work, you feel seen, understood, and reminded that God is still writing your story. And He’s far from finished.
